On Dec 12 a news item was published in the news under the title ‘ CIA terminates contract with Blackwater ‘. This report, on the authority of CIA Spokesman George Little, published by New York Times clearly proves the presence of Blackwater in Pakistan prior to CIA ending its contract as per the news item cited above.
It mentions CIA employees will take over jobs from Blackwater/Xe employees at remote drone bases in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Interior Minister, Rehman Malik promised his resignation if the existence of Blackwater is proved as per his interview, published in the news on Nov 21 under the title ‘Malik says he will quit if Blackwater exists in country’.
